There were times where I felt discouraged and frustrated with my situation, in which I doubted my ability to keep up with my schooling. This acknowledgement of my efforts has ignited a spark of motivation in me to continue persevering through my studies. The significance of this award is not lost on me and I am proud to honour Anastasia De Sousa’s memory in this way.
