I am incredibly honoured and humbled for the recognition of my achievement. I extend my sincere gratitude to Dawson College for this educational opportunity, to my dedicated instructors for sharing their invaluable knowledge, and to the generous donors who made this award possible. I am forever grateful to my partner for her unwavering support. Balancing the demands of this program with my personal commitments required great sacrifice. I was a returning mature student with no prior accounting experience and with more than 20 years since I had studied in an academic setting. My mother’s passing immediately after the program, though heartbreaking, fuels my determination to honor her memory through my achievements. I know she would have been proud of me.
