Being a full-time worker and student imposes challenges on a balanced life. Regardless of anything to overcome or work through, I am confident in my passion for learning and connection. To cultivate skills and lay my hand and heart with a drive into everything. I look forward to keeping up the effort, drive, creativity, and compassion I pour into school. This award helps me financially as well as being a motivator for my studies and future career.

Awarded to a first-year student who has demonstrated academic promise in Interior Design at Dawson College. The award commemorates the intelligence, drive and creativity of Michael Hendy, a graduate of the Interior Design program who passed away in 2010.
