This award means so much to me. It recognizes all the efforts I made to stay positive during my first year at Dawson. Despite the challenges, I always try my best to stand out and use my creativity to do so. I’m grateful especially because this award pays homage to Holly Bockus, a very special person that I never got to know, but I heard great things about her.
