As a theatre student, this award is a huge encouragement. I truly feel recognized for my efforts and dedication. My journey in theatre hasn’t been without challenges, which makes this recognition even more meaningful. I’m older than many of my peers, and I’ve had to overcome obstacles related to language skills and cultural differences. However, I refuse to let these hurdles hold me back. I am committed to pushing forward and embracing every opportunity to grow in this field.

Awarded to a first year Professional Theatre student who demonstrates strong perseverance and dedication. This award is granted in honour of Victor Knight, one of the founders of Dawson College's Professional Theatre Department.
