Jeanne Lortie
I am a third-year goalie on the Dawson women’s hockey program, and I will attend university next year studying Applied Economics and Management and being part of their D1 hockey program. In the past 3 years at Dawson, I haven’t spent much time with my family and friends outside of hockey between studying Health Science, playing competitive hockey, and working part-time to pay for my hockey training. Thanks to this award, I will be able to finance part of my development this summer and be able to work less to spend a little bit more time with my family and friends before I leave for the United States next year.
