In high school, I did not have many achievements in my physical education courses. I felt as though these were achievements that were unattainable for me. These outdoor education courses, as well as this award, have immensely contributed to giving me the confidence that I have a high potential to achieve great things if I put in all my effort. This award has most definitely changed my perception of my capabilities and figures as one of the foundational pieces of the achievements that will help me grow as a person and as a student.
