I am beyond grateful that the work of so many people has enabled me to go through this internship program, a true transformative experience. Receiving this award further encourages me to do my best to give back to the exceptional scientific community here at Dawson. It empowers me to feel more confident in pursuing a career as a physician-scientist and it inspires me to work towards contributing to scientific advancement as best I can.
