Katryn Turriff

Receiving this recognition fills me with pride. Having been a patient myself for most of my adolescent years, giving back to the community is very important to me and it is what motivates me to be the best nurse that I can be. My dream is to become a nurse practitioner and develop an eating disorder treatment center because I am passionate about helping people with this illness. Being recognized for my empathy, communication skills and competent bedside manner rewards the immense effort I have put into the nursing program to push myself to the best of my abilities and make my dreams come true.
