Winning the Dawson College Perseverance Award is an incredible honour and a meaningful recognition of the challenges I have faced and overcome during my time at Dawson. As a student in the Social Services program, I have learned that perseverance is not just about pushing through difficulties, it’s also about growing from them and using that strength to help others. This award is a reminder of my journey and the resilience it took to continue my studies despite personal and academic obstacles. It motivates me to keep striving forward, both for myself and for the people I aim to support in the future.
