Prerequisite : Introduction to Windows or equivalent knowledge and familiarity with PCs and knowledge of the basics of programming is a requirement.

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the C# programming language, and is targeted toward the NON-. NET programmer who is venturing into. NET for the first time. Students will be introduced to the Visual Studio environment . NET framework along with the concepts of object-oriented programming (OOP).

By the end of the course, students will have learned the basics of C# and will have built a set of simple applications including Console Apps, Windows Desktop Apps, and applications for the web. Other topics include working with different data (Files and Streams, XML, SQL Server databases), data binding and validation along with exception handling/management.

Once completing this course, the student will not be an expert, but will have a solid base and understanding of. NET and the C# language. They will be comfortable in building amazing applications in one of the most powerful and sought-out programming languages out there.

• self-employed;
• overqualified for the position you currently hold and the course is relevant to your area of study.

• a full-time student;
• unemployed and/or receiving employment insurance or welfare;
• receiving CSST (worker’s compensation) from the SAAQ.
