This 90-hour introductory course is for those with little or no SolidWorks experience. This hands-on course covers basic 3D modeling, including intermediate modeling, simple assemblies, drawing layouts, and view manipulation. Activities include modeling castings, injection-molded parts, derived parts, and simple assemblies with basic animation. Students will be assessed on an ongoing basis with weekly assignments and evaluations guided by the course instructor to further promote ongoing learning.
