French as a Second Language Workshop – Level 6 (In person)

Prerequisite : French as a second language—level 5 or equivalent
Overall Goals:

  1. This advanced level course aims to consolidate students’ communicative skills in relation to the Quebec reality.
  2. Students will learn how to nuance their speech and how to take care of their sentence structure when speaking.
  3. Among the proposed themes are: the education system in Quebec, the regions of Quebec, job search, culture.

Methodology:

  • Directed conversation: Application of grammar in pairs or teams
  • Oral production: Discussions/debates/presentations
  • Comprehension: Listening to audio and video clips, reading text

  1. This course is intended for all Francophiles.
  2. To take this course, it is necessary to have a good knowledge of the language.
