The Dawson Foundation is grateful for the trust of our donors and is committed to conducting all our operations to maintain that trust.
Your donation to the Dawson Foundation is being used as you intended. The purpose of the Foundation is to support the students and initiatives of Dawson College while keeping operating costs low to ensure maximum efficiency.
Stewardship
Thanks to the trust of our donors and with the support of our community, the Foundation seeks to be a good steward of the resources entrusted to help students and College projects.
Financial stewardship is central to fulfilling our mission, achieving our fundraising goals and meeting donor expectations. Accountability, responsibility and good governance underpin everything we do.
The independent Board of Directors, composed entirely of volunteers drawn from the community and our alumni, has set strong internal controls. The Foundation board, volunteers and staff abide by ethical and professional conduct guidelines, which are in line with the Donor’s Bill of Rights. Every year, independent auditors review our financial reports, records and files.
