Dawson Student Survey Results – Winter 2020

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, on 13 March 2020, Dawson College was required to suspend all in-person classes. Courses resumed online between the weeks of March 30, 2020 and April 6, 2020.

A survey was created to gauge the students’ online experience, including but not limited to: course retention rate and reason for leaving; difficulty in participating in online courses; platform, online tools, and learning management system (LMS) usage; technological and situational difficulties; course satisfaction; engagement and motivational level; and workload. The survey also encouraged comments from the participants.

The survey for Students about Online Course Experience was administered to students at Dawson College between 24 April and 4 May 2020.
