SALTISE – Call for Proposals for June 3 and 4 Conference!

On June 3rd and 4th 2024, SALTISE will be gathering to celebrate the 13th Annual SALTISE Conference. The theme of this year’s conference is “Emerging Technologies in Education: Shaping Potential, Managing Pitfalls” and invites us to discuss the transformative role of emerging technologies in reshaping educational practices. Proposal Topics
We welcome proposals that investigate topics reflecting the Conference theme as well as those related to student-centred active learning pedagogies, instructional design, and classroom engagement. Topics include but are not limited to:
- Best practices and advice on using new pedagogies (i.e., using active learning approaches, flipped-classroom, blended learning, e-learning, etc.)
- Implementation of technological innovations (i.e., online technologies, using tablets, interactive whiteboards, etc.)
- Research findings from educational psychology, science education, educational technology, learning sciences, adapted education, etc.
- Special topics that impact instruction and learning (i.e., universal design learning (UDL), student cognitive development, data mining, data analytics, etc.)

- Interactive Sessions – short and long
