Mental Health Services

Registered Dawson students have access to free and confidential psychotherapy. Our mental health professionals can provide you with short-term support to help you manage your mental health, or to help you with challenging life situations you may be experiencing. Simply email: mentalhealth@dawsoncollege.qc.ca to connect with an intake worker.

We are located in 4E.2 weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Student AccessAbility Office

The Student AccessAbility office offers support to Dawson students with documented hearing, visual, or motor/coordination impairments, learning disabilities, mental health issues, or chronic medical conditions. If you have or think you might have such an issue, be sure to contact AccessAbility, because you may be eligible for various kinds of extra help and accommodations (e.g., extra time for exams).

Academic Skills Centre

For help with study skills, essay-writing skills, grammar, time management, or to sign up for free peer tutoring in various subjects, go see the wonderful people at the Academic Skills Centre, which has just moved upstairs to the Library.
