March 13 12:22 p.m. update:

As of March 13 at 11 p.m., Dawson College will be closed for two weeks in compliance with the directives from the Quebec Government to help slow the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

All classes and activities are cancelled until March 30 or until further notice. Employees and students are asked to stay tuned for further details.

If you have symptoms, the Government has set up a new telephone service at 1-877-644-4545. You are asked to not call 811.

We reiterate this important message about travel:

TRAVEL

PERSONAL TRAVEL

Students and employees are strongly advised not to leave Canada for any international destination, including the United States, until further notice.

Leaving the country at this time could put your health at risk.  A student may face consequences from missing school if they knowingly leave the country from March 12 onward.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

All business travel for Dawson College outside Canada, including attending conferences, is forbidden.

IF YOU HAVE RETURNED FROM AN INTERNATIONAL TRIP ON OR AFTER MARCH 12

All students and employees who return from ANY country outside Canada, including the United States, must go into self-isolation for 14 days. This is effective March 12 until further notice from the Quebec Government. If you returned to Quebec before March 12, this does not apply to you. However, those who have returned to Quebec within the last 14 days are asked to carefully monitor their health for 14 days following their return.
