Doubly proud of our Blues!

March 24th, 2020

Two Dawson Blues Division 1 Basketball players, Taisha Exanor and Mackenzie Ash-Smith, have made history! On March 18, the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) announced that Taisha and Mackenzie are recognized as 2020 CCAA Women’s Basketball All-Canadians.

The student-athletes are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team. Dawson's conference is the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ and our players were chosen by the RSEQ league coaches.

It is the first time since 1986 that two Blues were named All-Canadians, and it is the first-time since 2008 that an RSEQ team has two.
