If you have not already updated your email signature, office files, web pages and more with the new Dawson Branding, please take a moment to do so.

To update your email signature, go to Omnivox and look for Branded Email Signature under the Non-Academic Services menu.

Blues Div. 1 men’s basketball team get bronze at Nationals

The Dawson Blues Div. 1 Men's Basketball team won bronze at the CCAA National Championships!
After a great week in which they got stronger with each game, the Blues defeated VIU Mariners 99-74 in the Bronze Medal Game March 27.

Dawson students are K-Pop champions

Congrats to our Dawson K-pop dancers who brought home the trophy after last week’s Intercollegiate K-Pop Triple Crown Dance Competition (KTCD)!

Students who performed this year are part of the local K-Pop dance performance group Rewind Mtl and for the first time ever, competed live against Champlain College, John Abbott College, Marianopolis College, and Vanier College.

First-year student wins research bursary for work with Adaptech Research Network

First-year Dawson Social Science student Abigaëlle Vasseur is one of seven CEGEP students in Quebec to win a bursary for research work this winter semester. Abigaëlle joined Dawson’s Adaptech Research Network and it was through this work that she won a Bourse pour stage d’initiation à la recherche pour la relève au collegial, valued at $3,000, from the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture.

Save the date for Dawson’s Recognition of Service

It’s finally time to celebrate! We will have a special celebration the evening of Thursday, June 16 to recognize all those who have retired and all those who have arrived at the major milestone of 25 years of service to Dawson since July 1, 2019.

The evening will include a cocktail hour and a dinner. Dawson’s traditional Recognition of Service aims to treat our long-serving and dedicated employees to a very special night.

Invitations will be sent in May.

Dawson students brought petition to Quebec

March 23rd, 2022

Members of the Dawson Student Union were at the National Assembly on March 16 to see Member of the National Assembly for Westmount–Saint-Louis Jennifer Maccarone officially present the petition, which had garnered 19,883 signatures in only three weeks! They also gave a press conference with the Leader of the Official Opposition Dominique Anglade and Jennifer Maccarone. Director General Diane Gauvin will address the Quebec government’s decision on Dawson’s infrastructure project on Thursday in a letter to the Dawson community.
