Upcoming plays at Dawson

After Heavy Weather and The Laramie Project last semester, the second-year students of Dawson's Professional Theatre Department are back with two shows in March. The Cripple of Inishmaan by Martin McDonagh, and Chaos, by Laura Lomas.
Inishmaan, directed by Matt Enos, is a dark comedy about a small Irish town, pulled out of their daily routine when a Hollywood director comes to film a documentary. Chaos, directed by Stefanie Buxton, is a series of interconnected stories about the chaos of the modern world.
Inishmaan plays March 9 - 12, and Chaos plays March 23 - 26. Both shows are free. Proof of vaccination is required, and masks must be worn at all times.

Eudaimonia open until Feb. 19 at the Gallery
February 2nd, 2022
After almost two years, Dawson’s 2020 Visual Arts graduates are pleased to present how their practices have flourished and prospered, while staying true to their understanding of eudaimonia.*
Twenty graduates from the 2020 Visual Arts cohort present work in media ranging from digital photography to sculpture, painting, drawing, and video at the Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery from Jan. 27 to Feb. 19, 2022.
* Aristotle utilized eudaimonia as the term for the highest human good, an objective standard of ‘happiness’ based on what it means to live a human life well. The title is the same as the original graduating 2020 exhibition, which could only happen online due to the first lockdown.
