Resistance and Resilience opens Oct. 8

Following the success of Skénn:en: Peace and Decolonization (2017) and Queer and Peace (2018), Diana Rice (Programming Coordinator, Peace Centre) prophetically conceived of a project that would provide a space for those voices traditionally unheard and often ignored: Legacy and racialized immigrant communities. Once again collaborating with Rhonda Meier of the Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery, the work began in 2018 to create a platform for artists to display their experiences of racism and systemic oppression.

Dawson’s first-ever Virtual Open House

This year Dawson College is creating a compelling digital experience for prospective students and their parents with our first-ever Virtual Open House taking place Oct. 20-25.

It is a big project that includes the sector deans and assistant deans, program and profile coordinators, the IST team, the Communications Office and others.

Parents Night is Sept. 23

September 8th, 2020

Parents Night is set for Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. and invitations to parents of first-year students have been sent.

Like most events at this time, it will be virtual.

This is an opportunity for parents to learn more about the College. There will be a presentation by the First-Year Students' Office and a chance to ask questions. If you need more information, contact the Communications Office.
