Five teams of Dawson Science students participated in the annual Déplace de l'air competition at Polytechnique Montréal Feb. 8. They had three hours to build an operational wind turbine from scratch using only the materials provided. The best among them produced 1150mV during testing. Dawson's best entry placed 14th of about 60 teams.
North South Studies, with the collaboration of academics, journalists, Human Rights organizations, activists and engaged members of communities from the South, has organized a series of conversations about the ongoing social uprisings.
