AccessAbility Centre is seeking student note-takers

Share

The Student AccessAbility Centre (SAAC) is seeking students to serve as note-takers. This is a great way to get involved, help out classmates, and make a small stipend.

Note-takers fill gaps in information for students with disabilities. These gaps can arise from physical disabilities or difficulties with writing, listening, or comprehension.

Some of the benefits of becoming a note-taker include:

  • Responsibility – motivates you to focus/engage in class
  • Synthesizing ideas – improves your retention and understanding of class information
  • Clear, organized, legible notes – will help you study
  • Helping a peer – supports well-being and community
  • MONEY! – $90 for a 60-hour course
  • Real experience to include on your CV
