Annie Larouche and Joel Anthony Join Dawson Golf Classic

Annie Larouche and Joel Anthony from the professional basketball team The Montreal Alliance are set to join the list of our esteemed guests for the 2023 Dawson Golf Classic, which will take place at the Summerlea Golf Club in Vaudreuil-Dorion on Thursday, June 8.

Hosted by CTV Montreal’s Christine Long and chaired by Honorary President Frédérique Guay, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before. About Annie Larouche

Annie Larouche, VP of Operations at Montreal Alliance

Born in Montreal, Annie has been immersed in professional sports for over 30 years. She gained her professional experience with the Montreal Alouettes where she held various roles for 25 years. She has also collaborated with many sports teams in Montreal during her career.

In addition to leading the professional basketball team as the Vice-president of Operations in Montreal, Annie sits on various boards of directors: Baseball Quebec, Basketball Montreal and she is president of the Fédération de Cheerleading du Qc and the Association de parents du Collège St-Jean-Vianney. She is also an ambassador for the Espace Leadership Féminin and a mentor for the Parcours La Relève at HEC.

Dawson alumni Joel Anthony

Joel Anthony, former professional basketball player and General Manager at Montreal AllianceJoel Anthony, a 10-year NBA veteran and two-time NBA champion from Montreal attended Dawson (Social Science Progra) in Montreal before graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Joel began his NBA career with Miami in the 2007-08 season and was part of championship teams in 2011-12 and 2012-13. He played with the Boston Celtics in 2013-14, Detroit Pistons in 2014-15 and 2015-16, and finished his NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs in 2016-17. All total, Anthony played in 490 regular season and 66 playoff games during his 10 NBA seasons.
