From January 29 – February 16, stop by the library (5C.1) to browse our book display for Black History Month. Selections include fiction, monographs, graphic novels, and memoirs. For more reading suggestions, you can browse our Black History booklist.
Streaming content for Black History Month
Celebrate Black History Month with Curio’s Black History in Canada collection, a collection of over 50 audiovisual resources which celebrates the achievements of Black Canadians and reflects on the stories, experiences and accomplishments of Canada’s Black community. Curio is an online streaming service which contains a wealth of primary-source content in English and French, including the latest from CBC and Radio-Canada’s award-winning documentary, news, drama, and children’s programming. This can be accessed for free by Dawson students and employees.
