Donations to Dawson College will be matched this year for Giving Tuesday

For this Giving Tuesday, any dollar donated to Dawson College will be matched by 50%.  To participate, give to the Dawson Development Fund in the drop down menu of targeted donation options.

After months of pandemic lockdown, activities to raise funds in support of Dawson’s students are back in action:

This summer saw the revival of the golf tournament, renamed the Golf Classic, and Artists in Bloom, both of which raise funds for Dawson students.

In just one week, the Student Academic Enhancement Fund will launch its first call for projects and will create great possibilities for students to embark on exciting and innovative cross-disciplinary experiential learning opportunities.

After a two-year hiatus, the Awards and Scholarships program will be hosting an in-person Fall Awards Evening on November 24, where the achievements and perseverance of Dawson’s students will be recognized.

The Dawson Foundation is an essential vehicle for the College to accept and solicit donations from the wider community in support of Dawson students.  Within the current context of high inflation, the cost of supporting our students is increasing and government funding is fixed.  The Foundation looks for support from the internal and external community to supplement resources so that our students have an enriched experience and so that no valid project goes unfunded.
