Graduate Level Microprogram in Public Administration
The Consortium of English-language CEGEPs, Colleges and Universities of Quebec has partnered with the École nationale d’administration publique (l’ÉNAP) to develop a new, part-time graduate-level microprogram in public administration tailored to English-speaking university graduates in Quebec.
The microprogram will launch in September 2023 with a registration deadline of June 1. Delivered in French with additional language support at l’ÉNAP’s Montreal campus, the target audience is recent graduates from our three university members (Bishop’s, Concordia, and McGill) who hold, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree and have an interest in a career in Quebec’s public service.
The nine credit microprogram will adapt three core courses already offered at l’ÉNAP (Principes et enjeux de l’administration publique, Management des organisations publiques et Droit de l’administration publique) to include content, examples and case studies that reflect the challenges and opportunities facing English-speakers who wish to explore a career in Quebec’s Public Service.
This collaboration between the Consortium and l’ÉNAP is intended to help address the long-standing under-representation of Quebec’s English-speaking community in Quebec’s Public Service, and to build rewarding career pathways for our graduates in Quebec.
For more information, please see l’ÉNAP’s webpage for the microprogram.
Virtual Information Sessions will take place on April 19 (12:15 p.m.) and April 27 (6:30 p.m.) 2023. You must register for the login link by clicking here.
This initiative was made possible by funding from the Secrétariat aux relations avec les Québécois d’expression anglaise.
