How would you describe your teaching philosophy?
Teaching depends less on how well a teacher presents but depends more on how well the students understand.
If a student already knows everything, s/he need not come to class. The reason why s/he comes to class is because s/he wants to learn something.
Not only am I the students’ teacher, but also their mentor, comforter, cheerleader, helper…
What makes teaching at Dawson special?
Diversity in students’ backgrounds and Dawson’s programs make teaching more interesting.
What is your favourite thing about teaching?
I treasure the friendship between the students and me that flourishes during their journeys inside and outside the classroom at Dawson.
