Rob Springer Hockey Game Feb. 7 at 8 p.m.

Feb. 3 marked five years since we lost Rob Springer in a traffic accident on his way to work at Dawson College.

Rob worked in IST, and was known as Bear for his tireless support of the Dawson Blues, especially women’s hockey. His legacy lives on in the Rob Springer Scholarship Fund. Athletics has produced a sticker using the logo designed by the women’s hockey team. The cost is $2/sticker with 75 per cent of the proceeds going to the fund.

A tribute game for Rob Springer will be played this Friday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. at Westmount Recreation Centre (4675 Saint-Catherine St, Westmount, Quebec H3Z 1S4). Light refreshments will be served from 7:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. Please come and support the team and the Rob Springer Scholarship Fund by buying a sticker and wearing it to the game.
