Pre-Semester Courses Info

  • Pre-­‐semester means before the regular semester starts
  • Pre-­‐semester courses start and most finish before the start of the semester.
  • Pre-­‐semester courses are optional.
  • Course withdrawal/drop deadlines are before the start of the semester.
  • Total 30 hours, 1 credit.
  • Online registration. First come, first served basis. Limited space.
  • No pre-­‐requisites for 102 courses.
  • 101 and 102 pre-­‐requisite for a 103 course.
  • Pre-­‐Registration for a pre-­‐semester course is online.
  • Go to your MYDAWSON portal through OMNIVOX and look for Surveys and Votes found under My Omnivox Services.
  • If you are eligible you will receive a MIO prior to the sign up dates giving you instructions on how to choose your preferred pre-­‐semester intensives
  • These courses are very popular and fill up within the first 4 minutes. Students will be assigned on a First come, first served basis provided they meet the pre-­‐requisites once final grades are submitted.
  • Please consult your progression chart. It will show you when you should be taking a PE course.
