Transcripts and Document Requests
The relevant information is available through Omnivox in the document request area of the portal. The Records email, as stated below, should be used as directed.
Overview
The College reserves the right to validate the student’s identification.
Transcripts (Electronic Version – PDF / Student Copy)
A copy of your transcript is available at any time at no charge through the MyDawson (Omnivox) portal.
- Log onto MyDawson
- Go to My Omnivox Services located on left-hand column
- Click on Results – Collegial Studies Grades Transcript
Official Transcripts
- Courses in progress do NOT appear on transcripts.
- All courses completed at Dawson College as well as any other college in Quebec will be reflected on the transcript.
- Official Transcripts for educational institutions or employers have the Dawson College embossed stamp.
- Processing of transcript takes up to 5 business days. (Note: The months of January, February, August, September, and October are high peak periods. Processing may take up to 10 business days)
- Payment ($8.00 per institution) must be received before request is processed.
- Official Transcripts are sent out by regular mail, by email, or pick up in person.
- It may be possible to expedite your transcript via express post:
- Indicate this option in the COMMENTS SECTION of the request form.
- The express envelope from Canada Post only must be delivered at the Registrar’s Office (room 2D.6) within the allotted time of 5 business days.
- Electronic copy of official transcript cannot be emailed to student. A hard copy in a sealed envelope can either be mailed or can be picked up at the Registrar’s Office counter (2D.6).
- If you need to attach a form or other documents to the transcripts, please attach the form in a PDF document and email it to records@dawsoncollege.qc.ca.
To request Official Transcripts online:
- Log onto MyDawson
- Go to My Omnivox Services located on left-hand column
- Click on Document Request
- Select Official Transcript
- Complete required sections
- Payment ($8.00) must be made by either Visa or Mastercard
If you do not have your log in information, please send an email to records@dawsoncollege.qc.ca with your full name, date of birth, place of birth, parents’ name, and the program or years you studied at Dawson College.
To request Official Transcripts in-person:
Please present yourself at the Registrar’s Office (room 2D.6) to fill out the Official Transcript Request form ($8.00).
Payment must be must be made by either Visa, Mastercard or Debit card and received at the time of request.
Letters Confirming Attendance / Graduation
- Letters are signed by a Records Officer and has the Dawson College embossed stamp.
- If there is an accompanying form to be filled out by the College, please present yourself at the Registrar’s Office (room 2D.6):
- Your information, including signature and date, are required on the form(s) in order to have your request processed (EXCEPT sections required to be filled out by the Registrar’s Office).
- Processing takes up to 5 business days. (Note: The months of January, February, August, September, and October are high peak periods. Processing may take up to 10 business days)
- Delivery Options:
- Pick up, valid photo ID requried
- Authorize someone to pick up on your behalf (proxy will need to present their valid photo ID)
- Payment ($5.00) must be received before request is processed.
To request letters online:

- Select Letter confirming attendance / Confirmation of Graduation
- Complete required sections
- Payment ($5.00) must be made by either Visa or Mastercard

To request letters in-person:

Education Verification for Employers
Procedure in processing requests:
- Requests are accepted by email, records@dawsoncollege.qc.ca, or by fax, 514-931-1602.
- Processing takes up to 5 business days. (Note: The months of January, February, August, September, and October are high peak periods. Processing may take up to 10 business days)
- The following must be provided;
- a written authorization from the potential employee, allowing us to release their information;
- the specific information you are seeking to obtain or confirm, eg: the dates when the potential employee attended our institution, did he/she graduate, type of program, etc.
Course Outlines for Courses Completed
If you completed your course within the last 5 years, your course outline is available through My Dawson portal – Select Lea located at the top-left.
If you require one or more course outlines for courses you completed more than five years ago, please follow the steps below. Note: Our website also contains brief course descriptions that may meet your needs. You may wish to review these outlines before making your request. To request a course outline online:
- Log onto MyDawson
- Go to My Omnivox Services located on left-hand column
- Click on Document Request
- Select Course Outline Request
- Complete the required sections
- Payment ($5.00) must be made by either Visa or Mastercard for each course outline.
