Artists in Bloom is an annual event through which the Blue Ring Society, the honour society of Dawson students, raises funds for a charitable cause.This year, the Dawson Daycare was selected as the beneficiary. On April 21, 30 talented student-artists in Visual Arts and Illustration & Design departments created new works of art before a live audience over a 2-hour period, which, were then auctioned off. The event started at 6pm in the 3rd floor cafeteria and received lots of positive feedback from the guests who attended. The event raised over $11,000 that evening!
