Artists In Bloom 2017
April 20th, 2017This event gives talented students from Fine Arts and Illustration & Design an opportunity to paint live for 2 hours, while family, friends, and community members watch their paintings come to life. The paintings are then auctioned off and the money raised this year will support Rosie Animal Adoption.
Project Update
Artists in Bloom is an annual event through which the Blue Ring Society, the honour society of Dawson students, raises funds for a charitable cause.
On April 20th, 29 talented student-artists in Visual Arts, Illustration & Design, and 3D Animation created new works of art before a live audience over a 2-hour period, which were then auctioned off.
The event started at 6PM in the 3rd floor cafeteria and approximately $9,500 and $10,000 was raised that evening for Rosie Animal Adoption.
