Industrial Design students travelled to the McCormick Place’s international Home + housewares (iHA) show, an exclusive event for Industrial Designers, retailers, manufacturers and buyers. Dawson College received this once in a lifetime opportunity to attend because Andres Delgado, 3rd year Industrial Design student, received an “Honorable Mention” and was invited, along with his peers, to the convention and attend the Student Design Center. 21,000 visitors attend the iHA show in Chicago every year. This is where new designs are put on display before they reach the market (store shelves).
