The 1st year Industrial Design students from Manufacturing Field trips course have the opportunity to visit factories by bus in the region of Montreal. This semester, the students will be designing products that will be made by the technologies that are being used in these factories, such as Rotomolding, Injection molding, Sand Casting & gravity metal casting, Plywood forming and more. Students will have the chance to interact with the engineers and ask questions related to their design projects thus gaining real-world experience within their program.
