The 16th annual Science et Société Forum was held right here at Dawson. We had a total participation of 11 students registered in the conference and several more students (as part of the blue ring society) were participating on the side with organization. Once again, Dawson was the only English college represented. On Friday evening, there was an opening address from the conference organizers, followed by a very encouraging message from our Director General. After this there was a group discussion with the invited researchers and all participating students (~300). Two of our Dawson students actually stood up and asked excellent questions in front of this crowd during the discussion and our DG was very impressed. Not only was this a great initiative for our students, but this project is also a direct collaboration between Arts and Science.
