Streets of Havana Exhibition Catalogue
September 16th, 2016This is a hands-on project. It is the natural final stage in a project that consisted of Professional Photography taking 9 students to photograph in the streets of Havana last January, 2016.
The Photography department is currently mounting an exhibit. The catalogue will serve to help promote the exhibit but more importantly, after the exhibit students will be able to use the catalogue for personal promotion. It will be an excellent reference in either digital or paper form for everything from job or university applications to grant applications. It will be an excellent tool to help students gain credibility as practicing photographers in any future endeavor. Photo Credit Jiang Linx
Project Update
The catalogue was designed by 2 students, Lina Samoukova and Kat Mergaert. They were overseen by Professor Don Corman. The students involved were very pleased to have an opportunity to create the catalogue. The catalogue was very useful in heightening the sense of professionalism in our exhibit. In addition it was very useful as a promotional vehicle for our exhibit as well as the participants in the exhibit. The students were able to take away copies of the catalogue for future promotional purposes.Take a look at the fantastic pictures included in the Streets of Havana CatalogueJulia Nishizawa
