Students in their graduating year of Illustration will take a 1-hour guided tour of the Thierry Mugler retrospective currently on display at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. This exhibition is the first museum presentation of Mugler’s full breadth of work. The tour expounds on the designer’s history, his evolution of work, and connection to music, performance, and theatre. During the visit, students are given the time to draw the original outfits, appreciating the full 3-dimensionality of the designs, as part of their Fashion Illustration course.
