Visual Arts: Chloe Wise Workshop
November 6th - 7th, 2016Chloe Wise is a graduate of Arts and culture at Dawson College. She is a successful Canadian artist based out of New York City. She specializes in oil painting, sculpture, digital collage and video art. Ms. Wise will be working in the presence of Visual Arts students in the Fine Arts Resource room making films and helping students understand the process of new media production.
Project Update
Chloe gave a public artist talk on November 7, 2016 to an audience of approximately 70 people from both the Visual Arts Program and the Arts Letters and Culture program. She spoke about the steps she took to become a successful artist after she left the Arts and Culture program at Dawson College. Her presentation was appreciated by all present. On the 8th, 9th and 10th of November, Chloe worked in the Resource room 2G.8 with Visual Arts Students in both first and second year. Anik Vignal in second year Visual Arts was her contact person. The students reported that it was an amazing experience to learn about the possibilites available to them after graduation from a professional artist right in their studio.
