Project Update

The Visual Arts trip to Ottawa was a big success. It was designed as an opportunity for students to see contemporary and historical art in a variety of contexts and venues. They listened to tour guides as well as explored larger museums on their own. The art works and the opportunities offered by the museums, galleries and university will serve as source materials for the students to use in their projects while they study at Dawson. The excursion also provided ideas on future career paths once they have finish their studies at the College. The students had a chance to see examples of where they can exhibit their art works and were exposed to the current questions being posed by artists today. This trip to Ottawa gave these students lots of to ponder ……………………………. take a look!
