A cuatro años del primer paso / Four years after the first step

El Centro de Capacitación Ambiental (CECAM) en la Upemor, fue sede de un evento sencillo, breve y altamente significativo, en el que se celebraron los primeros cuatro años del proyecto Planteles Educativos Sustentables.
Como testimonio congruente de la importancia de compartir saberes en este proyecto, se dieron cita en el lugar estudiantes y profesores de los diferentes planteles educativos participantes con la intención de compartir las investigaciones, proyectos y acciones que en cada uno de ellos se realiza a partir del inicio de esta iniciativa.
Para reconocer la trayectoria, los trabajos de investigación, la labor de promoción del cuidado del medio ambiente, los apoyos y el entusiasmo con que los diferentes actores de este proyecto se desempeñan, se entregaron una serie de estímulos económicos a estudiantes de los diferentes planteles. Así como la entrega de un paquete de libros a algunos de los profesores que han sido piezas clave para alcanzar el éxito del que hoy goza este proyecto al ser no sólo facilitadores sino guías y permanentes apoyos para los jóvenes estudiantes.
La ceremonia se tornó emotiva y cargada de gratitud, amistad y nuevas redes de apoyo, el reencuentro de algunos y la bienvenida a otros más fue un intercambio de esperanza y de nuevos y fortalecidos planes para el futuro más próximo.
Este evento fue al mismo tiempo, la coyuntura ideal para dar la bienvenida a un nuevo Plantel educativo que se suma a partir de ahora a esta aventura, se trata de la Preparatoria Comunitaria de Tres Marías, perteneciente a la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos, (UAEM).
En el panel, contamos con la representatividad de la Rectora de UPEMOR, Mireya Gally Jorda en la presencia de Yadira Toledo, estuvo también el Maestro Jorge Domínguez Sahagún en representación del Director de UPN Morelos el Profesor Aroldo Aguirre Wences y la presencia del Biólogo Jorge Alberto Viana Lases, Director de la Preparatoria Comunitaria de Tres Marías.
Cada uno de los jóvenes reconocidos en este evento habló brevemente sobre sus investigaciones, proyectos y/o acciones, en ellas se podía notar una mezcla de orgullo, gratitud, amistad, y especialmente, deseo de continuar desde donde se encuentran actualmente lo aprendido de cuatro años a la fecha.
Al final del evento, se realizó un brindis que estuvo a cargo de la representatividad de la UPN y la Preparatoria de 3 Marías, a mi parecer, en esas intervenciones breves y precisas, se resume el camino andado y el camino por andar de este proyecto.
Jorge Domínguez brindó por la cosecha obtenida después de estos primeros cuatro años, brindó por el trabajo realizado y las personas que trabajaron en este proceso, dijo que cosechamos esperanza y que compartir el fruto es gratificante; posteriormente Jorge Viana brindó por los frutos que contienen nuevas semillas y significan nuevas siembras, nuevos surcos, nuevos bríos para seguir labrando, para seguir compartiendo y para seguir celebrando.

Four years after the first step

The Environmental Training Center (CECAM) at the UPEMOR, hosted a simple, brief and highly significant event, in which we celebrated the first four years of the Sustainable Campuses Initiative.
As consistent testimony of the importance that this project has given to sharing knowledge, students and teachers of the different participating educational institutions gathered with the intention of sharing research, projects and actions that each of them has done since the beginning of this initiative.
In order to recognize the trajectory, the research, advocacy work in support of environmental action, the support and the enthusiasm with which the different actors of this project have participated, a series of scholarships to students from different campuses were given. A package of books were also given in recognition to some of the teachers who have been key elements in the success of this project, not only as facilitators but guides and permanent support for young students.
The ceremony became emotional and full of gratitude and friendship. It supported new networks, a reunion for some and a welcoming for others. It was an exchange of hope and of new and strengthened plans for the near future.
This event was at the same time, ideal for welcoming a new campus that has joined us from now on to this adventure, the Community College of Tres Marias, belonging to the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos, (UAEM).
In the panel, we had the representation of the Director of the UPEMOR, Mireya Gally Jorda in the presence of Yadira Toledo, also Jorge Dominguez Sahagún representing the Director of UPN Morelos Professor Aroldo Aguirre Wences and Biologist Jorge Alberto Viana Lases, Director of the Community College of Tres Marias.
Each of the young people recognized at the event spoke briefly about their research projects and / or shared how they felt a mixture of pride, gratitude, friendship, and especially desire to continue their work applying what they have learned for these four years.
At the end of the event, a toast was done by the representativeness of the UPN and the Community College of Tres Marias. In my opinion, in those brief and precise interventions, the road traveled and the road ahead were summarized.
Jorge Dominguez toasted to the harvest obtained after the first four years. He toasted for the work that has been done and the people who worked in this process. He said that we are reaping hope and that to share the fruit of our labour is rewarding; Jorge Viana toasted for the fruits that contain new seeds, which will bring new crops, new grooves, new strength to continue tilling, to continue to share and to continue to celebrate.
